Dynamik Oy
Dynamik Oy is a Finnish Information Technology company, which automates business processes with the help of artificial intelligence. The company has been operating since 2019 and offers services and consulting relating to AI. I collaborated with Dynamik in February of 2023 to create an icon and website page.
Icon
The brief was to create a bold icon design for Dynamik’s soon to be launched allocator service. The design was to visually fit in with the previous service icons. It was emphasised for the icon to be abstract and open to interpretation, as it would be used to symbolise different forms of allocation: Time, capacity, resources, etc.
The icon is a combination of the cogwheel symbol and pie chart. The cogwheel symbolises automation and algorithm, while the pie chart stands for division and allocation. I also integrated Dynamik’s brand colour, magenta into one of the pie chart sectors. This makes the design fit in with the company’s brand identity.
Website Page Template
The task was to create an effective customer story template for Dynamik’s website. As a base, I used one of Dynamik’s customers, Ekovilla. I was given photographs of Ekovilla’s activity and a story written by Timo Kyllönen, the company’s project manager.
The template supports the client story by creating a story arc. The text is divided into logical sections, which make the text easily digestible. Visual style choices, such as typography size and weight support the reader to focus on elements in the correct hierarchical order. Images add context and a sense of storytelling, which drives interest to scroll further.
